🌟We had a blast at @gatheratmaypole this morning for brunch and a concert with @mrdavemusic 🎶 This is a rare sighting out here in the burbs and we couldn’t miss it for the world! Can’t wait for the next one and can’t wait to go back to Maypole for the awesome food & drinks! 😁

👻 Boo Fest is a family friendly experience during the day on Saturday and Sunday but prepare to leave before the 6 PM parade when all the ghouls come out to play! ⁣

🏚️ The whole park is like one big haunted house but there are also additional haunted house attractions for an additional fee. ⁣

🧟‍♂️ Between roller coasters thrills and jump scares around every corner, this is the ultimate way to celebrate Halloween! ⁣

Yesterday was National Walk & Roll To School Day!

Yesterday was National Walk & Roll To School Day! The kids were amped up to bike to school so less passengers in the @madsencycles . However it was a great baby & backpack carrier ! #walkrolltoschoolday #glenellyn #glenellynd41 #d41schools

The parking lot at Old Orchard Mall has been overtaken by @realfunbox ! 25,000 sq ft. of inflatable fun! ⁣

We had the honor of being invited by @chicitykids for the 𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 play date and here are some tips from our experience! ⁣
⁣
🔵 Socks are required but if you forget you can purchase socks on site ⁣
⁣
🔵 We parked in a parking garage (helpful if you want to keep your car cool) but there is surface lot parking right next to where Funbox is set up ⁣
⁣
🔵 BRING. WATER. Sun reflecting off the plastic made for a hot experience and the kids were guzzling water like crazy! There are tables and shaded areas but it’s first come, first serve ⁣
⁣
🔵 Arrive 15 min early for your time slot. That way you can remove your shoes, find a spot for your belongings, and get to jumping. They will blow the whistle and start moving everyone out 15 min before your time slot ends, so running late will definitely eat into your time. ⁣
⁣
🔵 Lastly, if you think you are making it out of there without buying your kids a sno cone, you are a stronger woman than I am 😂 ⁣
⁣
